Booking and payments

To confirm a booking, a 30% down payment of the total price of the stay is required at the time of booking. The balance must be actually credited and available to the owner before arrival and, in any case, before the keys are handed over.

Proof of a bank transfer that has been ordered but not yet credited does not count as payment of the balance.

Cancellations

• At least 90 days before arrival: 100% of the down payment is refunded.
• From less than 90 down to 30 days before arrival: 50% of the down payment is refunded.
• Less than 30 days before arrival: no refund of the down payment.

For cancellations within 30 days of arrival, the full price of the stay remains due, less any amount already paid.

Changing the dates

Changes are possible only subject to availability and with the owner's written confirmation. Without that confirmation, the original dates and their cancellation terms remain in force.

Costs payable on site

These items are paid in cash on site and are not included in the online payment:

• Final cleaning: €70, one-off.
• Tourist tax: €1.80 per person per night (2026 rate set by the Comune di Salve), payable from 1 June to 30 September and for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. Outside that period it is not charged.
• Security deposit: €400, returned after the property has been checked. If damage exceeds €400, the difference remains due.

Dogs

• €150 per week for each dog.
• Dogs must be declared at the time of booking.
• The supplement counts towards the 30% down payment.

If dogs have not been declared, the owner may refuse the stay. Amounts already paid will not be refunded and the full price of the booking remains due.

Guests and times

• Maximum 8 guests, unless agreed in writing in advance.
• Check-in: from 14:00.
• Check-out: by 10:00.
• At check-in, each guest is required to present a valid identity document, as required by Italian law.

Minimum stays

In August the minimum stay is 7 nights and bookings run exclusively from Saturday to Saturday. For the rest of the year the minimum stay is 3 nights, with arrival on any day.

During your stay

• People not declared at the time of booking may not stay overnight.
• The person who makes the booking is responsible for all guests complying with these terms.
• Parties and events are not allowed, nor is behaviour that disturbs the neighbours, unless agreed in advance.
• Damage, faults or problems must be reported to the owner promptly.
• In case of need, faults or emergencies, the owner or authorised staff may access the property, with notice where possible.
• The owner is not liable for temporary interruptions to water, power, internet or other services caused by external circumstances beyond their control, while undertaking to help restore them quickly.
• Guests are responsible for looking after their own belongings.

No-show and early departure

In the event of a no-show or an early departure for reasons attributable to the guest, no refund is given and, where due, payment for the whole stay remains payable.

If the property is unavailable

If the stay cannot take place for a reason attributable to the owner, the amounts paid for the unused stay will be returned.

Payments in Bitcoin

Prices are always denominated in euro. Bitcoin is solely a method of payment. In the event of a refund, the amount due is determined in euro according to this Booking Policy; if the refund is made in Bitcoin, the conversion will be made at the value applicable at the time of the refund.

Acceptance

A booking can only be completed once these terms have been accepted. By making a booking, the guest confirms that they have read and accepted the Booking Policy and expressly approve the terms concerning the balance, cancellations, no-show, undeclared dogs and damage beyond the security deposit.
